3 year old conversations

The other day while the boys and I were at WalMart we saw an older man with a long white beard. This is the conversation that followed:

Clayton: "Does that man have a beard, mommy?"
Me: "Yes Clayton, he has a beard."
Clayton: "Is that Wilford Woodruff?"
Me: (trying to conceal laughter) "No."
Clayton: "Who is that then?"
Me: "It's a man that is shopping at WalMart just like us."

Clayton took a couple of good long looks at the bearded man before I could get him into another isle. At that moment I was wondering if we should have waited until he was a little older to teach him about the prophets :)

3 year old conversations are the best.

How cute! I could think of a lot worse people to be compared to than Wilford Woodruff and that is great that he already knows and remembers who that is and what he looks like.

I was totally expecting a Santa Claus comment, not Wilford Woodruff!! That's great that at 3 year old he knows who he was and what he looks like! Good job Mom and Dad!!

That is hilarious, good for you for teaching him who Wilford Woodruff even is. That is so adorable. I love 3 year olds (well most of the time).
