David and I made a quick trip this past weekend to our new hometown: Sparta, Wisconsin. We were so lucky to have Nani and Papa take care of the boys so that we could be kid free on our trip and get everything done. We are always amazed at how much we can accomplish without them :)
After making a lot of phone calls and looking at a few properties, we found the perfect place. It is a 2 story, 4 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath, twin home with a large fenced in back yard. Close to WalMart (one of two shopping centers in Sparta), within walking distance to a park and river trail, we feel so lucky to have found this! We are happy to call it home for the next 2 years.
We checked out a few other places in Sparta, including the preschool that Clayton will be attending next year. It is AWESOME! It's part of the public school district and we were really impressed.
Although we are really really really sad to leave Iowa City, we are getting excited for this next chapter in our lives.

Enjoy Wisconsin! Mark and I had a great year in that area. But I'm warning you that the winter was way worse than the winters in Iowa. (At least that was the case our year there.) Congratulations on finding a place!

SO nice to have a fenced in yard for the boys!! With all that room we might just have to come and visit!! Not in the winter but maybe a summer?!? Glad you guys are all set up for the next phase of life!

Congrats on the new house! Your boys are so dang cute. I'm sure David's parents are sad you will be moving farther away but a new exciting adventure is totally worth it. :)
Stacie! Congrats, that is exciting.. almost as exciting as the sweet deal we are getting next year :). And Sparta is a sweet name for a town, maybe I'll name my next kid Sparta.. maybe not.

Holy Moley I have missed a lot!!! Maybe I will just email you and ask you all the questions that I probably could find out by reading your blog, but I am too lazy. Man sounds like your life is exciting right now! The house looks great!
