Where do I begin???

One last visit to Heyn's ice cream.

Our last family shot in Iowa City the morning we left.

At a park in Sparta.

Another birthday celebration for Clayton. This time it was actually his birthday day.

Opening the "Mack" truck.

Clayton's face after opening his "Mack" truck.

Lego Land at Mall of America

Rides at Como Zoo

Spencer's curls!

Jellyfish discovery

The Lowman nuclear family breakfast outing.

Clayton couldn't get enough of these girls.

Looking for "ghost" crabs at night.

Family bike outing on the beach. This was so fun, and we are on the hunt for another bike and some child seats so we can bike around Sparta.

All the cousins

Let's just say that I don't know if I can sum up the past few weeks into one blog posting. We had an awesome couple of weeks in Des Moines, Minnesota, and Sunset Beach. We're back at our new home, and it is actually starting to feel like home. We are almost done unpacking! Hooray! We have a few more days of daddy before he starts work next Monday.

So far Sparta has treated us well. The branch that we'll be attending is small (40-50 people), but the members that do attend are strong. They moved us in like an army...our 22 foot truck that was packed to maximum capacity was unloaded in under an hour. The branch presidency visited us this last Sunday, and I think we'll have some great opportunities to serve here. There are a couple of girls in the branch that are my age, and let me tell you, I am extremely happy about that.
We are about 20 minutes away from LaCrosse, which has the children's museum, target, Sam's, mall...so it is a bit of a drive. There are farms, cows, horses, pick-up trucks everywhere we look, pretty different than anything we've ever experienced before. It is a big change, and I think we'll grow a lot from this experience. We are happy to be here, we know we're supposed to be here, and I have to remind myself of that when I start thinking about how much I miss Iowa City.
Here are some pictures of the past 2 weeks...there are A LOT of them.

Wow life will be different living in a branch. I have never had to do that even in Spain. I am glad there are some people your age. Hope that you settle right in and don't miss Iowa City too much.

You all look great! I'm so glad you are liking Wisconsin! We move this week and I am anxious to move on but so sad to be saying goodbye to our home of six years! Iowa is a good place!
