This past weekend we headed to MN where I ran my first 10K race. It was held at the beautiful Elm Creek Park Reserve. The course was on a paved trail through the woods. Can I say gorgeous? It was the best course I have ever run. The boys were able to run in their own 1K race too. They were so excited to wear their t-shirts, get an official number, run fast and get the free treats afterwards. They had music and a lot of fun activities for the kids.
I came in 54th overall, 8th woman, with a time of 48:40. I felt great.

Holy Cow that is amazing, do you realize you ran a 10k about the same time as my first 5k! I don't even think I could go that fast if a tiger was chasing me!
